CHOOSING A QUIET HOLIDAY (ACCOMMODATION) IN HOMESTEAD “BRAŽUOLĖ PAS JUOZĄ
INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE
- Accommodation is provided in the agritourism homestead “Bražuolė pas Juozą”, address: Draugystės g. 3, Bražuole village, Trakai raj.
- Representatives of the homestead “Bražuolė pas Juozą” : Elena Kairienė, Alma Taučiuvienė,(service provider) Tel: +370 61515637, operating under the certificate of individual activity No 1215709.
- ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:
3.1. If you choose a quiet stay ( accommodation), the rental period for the accommodation is calculated in days. The rental period runs from 14:00 on the first day of the rental until 12:00 on the last day of the rental, regardless of what time you arrive at the farmhouse. Arrival and departure times can be combined by mutual agreement (fees apply). If the homestay is not stayed for the whole rental period, the fee for the period of non-stay will not be reduced, refunded or reimbursed
4. PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
4.1. Guests choose the accommodation option and date that suits them by making a booking request. On the booking request, the number of people staying with them (adults, children) must be indicated.
4.2. The reservation will only take effect once the service provider confirms the reservation and the guest pays a 50% reservation fee of the amount indicated in the reservation. The rest is payable by bank transfer or in cash (EUR) on arrival at the property (card payments are not possible);
- In case of cancellation, the cancellation fee will only be refunded if the no-show is notified at least 10 days before the check-in date. Otherwise, the booking fee is non-refundable.
- Upon arrival at the homestead, the guest must present his/her identity document, fill in a guest card, get acquainted with the homestead’s internal rules of order, fire safety rules, and ensure that they are observed.
- By making payment, the guest confirms that he/she has read and understood the internal and fire safety rules and that he/she will ensure that they are observed.
- Guests wishing to increase the number of people arriving must inform the service provider. The number of people cannot exceed the number agreed at the time of booking without the service provider’s consent. Inviting temporary visitors, friends or other persons is prohibited. Additional arrivals may be subject to an extra charge. Failure to notify an additional person will result in a charge of EUR 50 for each person whose arrival is not notified.
- Additional services (if available) must be paid for immediately by bank transfer or cash (EUR) (card payments are not possible).
- Procedures for use of premises, equipment and inventory
5.1. After renting the selected room, the guest and the persons arriving with him/her accept the facilities and equipment provided, i.e. y. sanitary and engineering installations, appliances and other items in good order. If any defects (inconsistencies, malfunctions) in the premises or inventory are noticed upon acceptance, the service provider must be informed immediately. Failure to do so is deemed to be the fault of the person who used the item.
5.2. Guests are obliged to protect and preserve the property of the homestead “Bražuolė pas Juozą” and to observe the rules of internal order. The client shall be liable for any material damage caused in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If the loss or damage is caused by the guest’s minor children, the parents or guardians must pay for it.
5.3. If the guest or his/her children injure themselves or damage their property through their own fault, in breach of the internal rules, the service provider will not be held liable;
5.4. The guest and persons accompanying him/her shall leave the premises in the same order as when they arrived, i.e. y. with all equipment in place. Guests are not allowed to change the location of furniture, equipment or other furnishings without the consent of the service provider.
5.5. Guests must use water and electricity sparingly;
5.6. The customer and persons accompanying the customer may use:
5.6.1. The premises selected for the reservation, the rented premises and the physical assets and spaces of the site;
5.6.2. Sauna, hot tub (extra charge, must be booked in advance);
5.6.3. Barbecue facilities (charges apply, must be booked in advance);
5.6.4. Fishing in the farmhouse pond (only if you have rented a room at the farmhouse and paid the fishing fee to the service provider);
5.7. Items left at the homestead will be returned to their owners immediately if possible. If the owner cannot be found, the abandoned items are disposed of after 1 month in accordance with the procedures laid down;
5.8. For your safety, there are CCTV cameras in the common areas and throughout the property.
5.9. Guests must return the room key when they leave. There is a €15 damage fee for lost or damaged keys;
6. Homestead public order
6.1. The homestead is located next to the territory of Trakai Historical National Park, surrounded by nature, so all visitors must:
6.1.1. Protect the environment, the natural environment and the material assets of the property, and conserve natural resources.
6.1.2. To use and leave the grounds properly and in an orderly manner.
6.1.3 Guests are responsible for the care and proper use of their own personal property and vehicles, for damage to which the Service Provider shall not be liable.
6.1.4. Where waste sorting containers are placed, sort waste according to the instructions provided.
6.1.5.Comply with the permissible noise levels set out in the Noise Regulation 2003. 3 September Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania No. V-520: “The permissible noise level is regulated between 06.00 and 18.00. (daytime), from 18.00 to 22.00 (evening) and from 22.00 to 6.00. (night)”. Failure to comply with the Law on Noise Management of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating noise management is punishable by a fine of between EUR 60 and EUR 300 for noise source managers.
6.1.6. The premises and grounds are non-smoking. The designated smoking area is at the entrances of the farm buildings.
7. Guests are not allowed:
7.1. Smoking in all areas (designated smoking areas) is allowed, and smoking outside the designated area is subject to a fine of EUR 50. (Art.185(1) of the ATPK); Littering in the territory of the homestead (throwing cigarette butts, containers, food waste);
7.2. Breaking trees, shrubs, digging, tearing up lawns, destroying flowerbeds;
7.3. Without coordination, the lighting of fires, the use of barbecues without coordination, the use of other devices emitting open flames, the use of any firearms, fireworks or firecrackers;
7.3. Bringing and keeping dogs, cats or other animals on the property without authorisation; (Fee).
7.4. Carry material possessions and equipment on the property without permission;
7.5. Use towels, blankets, bedspreads, chairs, tables and other indoor equipment outside;
7.6. Children can play near ponds, swim in ponds and play on the playground alone without parental or adult supervision.
7.7. Endanger the safety or health of others.
7.8. Bring in any weapon, flammable or explosive liquids, strong and foul-smelling products.
7.9.Install facilities for recreation or sport (unless otherwise agreed).
8. To provide and book other services and entertainment on the territory of the homestead that are not rural tourism services.
8.1. Make noise, play loud music or otherwise disturb public order. To cause inconvenience to other persons staying in the homestead by their behaviour and sounds. (No music, noise or shouting after 22:00).
8.2. If guests do not comply with the internal rules or the service provider’s reasonable requests, thereby disturbing public order and disturbing other guests, the host has the right to evict the unwanted persons from the property before the scheduled time. In this case, no refunds will be given.
9. Guests must comply with fire safety requirements:
- Do not install additional electric heating appliances (kettles, irons, water heaters) in the room, except in the farmhouse room.
- Switch off electrical appliances when leaving the premises.
- Do not smoke inside the property, or throw cigarettes or cigarette butts outside designated areas.
- Do not build fires in places not intended for that purpose.
- Do not bring or store materials that may cause fire in the room.
- Familiarise yourself with evacuation plans.
- Only build fires on the property in designated areas. It is forbidden to leave a fire unattended and must be extinguished when you leave the fireplace;
- Do not leave children unsupervised when building fires in fireplaces, barbecues or barbecues, and do not allow children to build fires or play with burning sticks, firewood or embers;
- Parents or guardians (carers) of minor children have a duty to ensure their safety. Children must be accompanied by their parents or guardians when bathing.
- Guests are responsible for any accidents that may occur inside the property, in the courtyard, in the lake or pond, in the gazebos or in other areas.
- Accidents and their consequences resulting from alcohol consumption are the guest’s responsibility.
- In the event of a fire in the room, report it immediately to the fire brigade by calling 112.
If the fire cannot be put out by your own efforts, you must leave the room and close the door without unlocking it; you must report the fire to 112 or to the person in charge of the homestead service provider.
- In the event of a fire outside the room, report it immediately to the fire brigade on 112. If corridors or stairwells are smoke-filled and you cannot leave, you should stay in your room and open the windows wide. A tightly closed door can provide long-term protection against dangerous temperatures. To avoid smoke poisoning, cover cracks and ventilation ducts with towels or bed linen dampened with water; try to notify the fire brigade or the owner of the property by telephone of your location; and go to the window and shout for help when firefighters arrive at the scene.
